Across the circuits of intergenerational transmission, language between women—particularly within the mother–daughter bond—often remains partial and fragmented.
The experience of childbirth, marked by an intensity that is both physical and symbolic, frequently resides at the threshold of what can be spoken, held at a distance from shared narratives.
This withdrawal of speech creates a form of non-transmission, in which lived experiences leave their imprint without always finding words.
What emerges is a diffuse secret, both intimate and collective, lodged within bodies and memories—present, yet unspoken.

This project is an organic production in more ways than one as it is the re- sult of three individuals working to keep track of a relative unison. Originally intended by Vutuc as an exploration at large of the parallels between diffe- rent natures of shapes, questioning the exact limit and relationship between spontaneous landscapes in the pseudo-wild and patterns of the human body - and thus our true place as bearers of such bodies - his approach to the the- me kept evolving over the years of process only to be impacted, eventually, by a newfound context of pandemic crisis, contemporarily to the happening of Maycec’s pregnancy.
The physical transformation Maycec was undergoing, preparing for the gift of birth amidst particularly troubled settings drove Vutuc to ponder unexpected new dimensions within his forerunning interrogations. To the more establi- shed reality of existing as an individual was cemented the specific - and paradoxically, less familiar - dilemma of breeding amidst a toxic, corrupted, manipulative system; the idea of naturally feeding the globally orchestrated doom, and of one’s share of personal responsibility over the next generations by pure design.
Generation per se being the theme here; be it of new shapes within an adjus- ting or forming living body, of fresh energy desperately injected into otherwise degenerated social landscapes, or of sounds from the human pulse as life either finds its inception or insists on running its course. One always resulting from the other, echoing the meeting of two parents; loops and dualities refe- renced by the disposition and meeting of the images on display.
Both ends of the book.are laid out to converge in a deep center and materia- lize in vinyl record form: an object revealed to its own existence as if the true binding of the self-contained universe.
The supported recording documents the echoes of two, then three indivi- duals preparing to deal with the contemporary consequences of joining ener- gies to bring new life onto the world, complete with frequencies of the baby’s heartbeats throughout growth, or the emerging trio’s pulses as they were finding their tune - captured as far as into the hospital, and supported by loo- ping and sound performances recorded as late as two days prior to delivery.
